CC106 Individual Report Part 5 (Conclusion)
After all the hardwork, It is finally done and the lesson learnt is, I still have long way to go to fully using Microsoft Notepad to established a webpage.. It is much easier for beginner like me to use dedicated software such as Microsoft Frontpage or Macromedia Dreamweaver to hasten up the work.. However, if I'm given a similar assignment again, i may use back Microsoft Notepad to pursue my knowledge in handling all the codes and tags manually :)
Thank You for reading. :)
CC106 Individual Report Part 4
After a long search, finally i found this website, http://www.zymic.com/ .. This webserver provide free webhosting with minimal limitation or restriction as well as having their own file upload manager to further ease my task..
Of course, the first thing i do is to register myself for a free webserver.. i ended up with http://theimperial.uuuq.com/ as my URL (Uniform Resource Locator) or some call web address.. Next, i upload all the nescessary file and folder which i created earlier to store all my webpage related file into the folder and further categorized it.. Their upload manager is an easy to use feature and it really save my alot of hassle.. But sadly, it only can upload 3 items at one go but I'm ok with it :)
Alright, everything is up and by visiting http://theimperial.uuuq.com/ , we can see the webpage that i created earlier as well as the link to mine or my partner's personal blog..
CC106 Individual Report Part 3
We will start by declaring the {table border="1"} as well as declaring the width and height..
then we continue by inserting {tr} and {td} tag which means 'table row' and 'table data' in this manner:
{tr}
{td} {/td}
{td} {/td}
{/tr}
{tr}{td} {/td}{td} {/td}{/tr}
By entering tags as the above manner, i got 2 rows and 4 columns of table.. in the {td} tag, we can enter the width, height, colour, allignment as well as text which will be applied thoughout the {td} row that we declared.. in the first row first column (or the first set of {td} {/td}) i've embedded my personal picture by using a simple {src="source file name"}.. again, we can add more tag such as height and width to limit the image size so that it wont be too big..
in the first row second column (second set of {td} {/td}), i put some simple introduction of myself and what to be expected in my blog later ^^
the second row is to be filled by my partner who will do the same thing as mine to keep the page consistency.. This is the end of the table part.. oh ya, i also did use Microsoft Frontpage to create an interactive button which will link to our webpage :)
Since our index.html is completed, the next section will include our uploading process to free web server..
CC106 Individual Report Part 2

This time, i'm using Microsoft Frontpage to assist me in some in-depth coding that i never learn before.. Microsoft Frontpage consist of html code view and design view.. in design view, everything is simplified, all i need to do it is drag and drop or select from a complete list to see which action is suitable for me.. then after it is done, i click on the html code view to see the code and apply them into my notepad.. all i need to do is to put {body background = "source file name"} to embed a background into my webpage..
Next, i've writted a few words in the middle for some slight introduction of the page.. Some simple coding such as {p align="center"} and {front size="7"} is included to make my text big and alligned to the center of the webpage.. Then i furnish them with some colour by adding {colour=#000000} where 000000 is the code for particular colour.. again, i got the colour code with the help of Microsoft Frontpage :}
i also included some {b} and {p} code which means bold and paragraph.. bold {b} will slightly enlarge the word to give emphasis while paragraph {p} will act as 'enter' button on the keyboard to bring the word down.
Next we will continue in part 3 which is to create a table
